We could go on and on about what a home inspection is, who should be there, how long it takes, and so on, but these are all the things you have probably already read on other home inspection web-sites or in brochures found in real estate offices.

I want to focus on what we do differently!  Like showing up on-time, every time or like always changing our shoes before we enter a house (our inspectors carry in-door only shoes). How about our trucks being clearly marked so you can flag us down if we pass up the house, or the fact that our trucks never leave in the morning dirty. Our inspectors all wear clothing from the DC Home fashion line (we are rivaling Tommy Hilfiger in teen fashions) and show up to every job clean and prepared for any situation. Our vehicles are equipped with the latest inspection gadgetry including state of the art ladders, moisture detection equipment, electrical testing devices, digital cameras, and special lighting and equipment for mold detection and in-door air quality issues. Our inspectors are in constant contact with the main office for questions and important information needed at the job site.  If needed, a second inspector may be called in to help make a judgment call. 

Our inspectors are prepared and well trained to deliver the information you need before such a major purchase and in an easy to read format. We take the time to review the report at the end of the inspection and walk you through unfamiliar territories making sure you know and understand every aspect of the home. The reports are prepared and ready to e-mail, fax or mail the next day. We do this as a courtesy for our customers and all who attend - you don't need to sit around for another 90 minutes just to watch us write the report. We are typically in and out within 90 minutes to 2 hours (however, were ready to stay for as long as it takes). Our philosophy is that any situation or problem large or small can be repaired. We don't panic or try to scare the customers when we find a problem or defect in a home...we will simply point out the defect, show you your options available, and give you as much information as possible about the situation. This is where and why some of our newsletters were originally generated and designed for.   

Our inspectors are pillars of the community, family men, knowledgeable and honest as the day is long (I got that one from my father). Our combined backgrounds  include engineering, homebuilding, heating and cooling, roofing, general construction, masonry, appliance repair, in-door air quality testing, weatherization, heat loss consulting, business management, and computers.

We are FHA/VA approved for roofing certifications and structural inspections. We are paid professional witnesses relating to home inspections and revered by many area lawyers (we even play on their softball teams). We are approved by the State of Ohio to provide continuing education for realtors and other home inspectors. We are ASHI certified and adhere to a strict code of ethics. 

We are the professionals in the home inspection business and we are here to stay with over 17 years of professional service and over 70 years of combined experience. We work with over 60 real estate offices, over 1200 realtors, and list of well over 14,500 satisfied clients.
